Getting Around

Walk with the compass directions, open the world map to see where you are, and let a recall spell carry you home.

Wyvern is a big place. Most of getting around is just walking, with a couple of shortcuts for the long hauls.

Walk

Move with the compass directions:

>north
>east
>sw
>up

Every direction works: n/north, s/south, e/east, w/west, the diagonals ne nw se sw, plus up and down. You can spell it out with go or move:

>go north
>move up

Walking into a door, an exit, or a friendly creature just does the sensible thing — you step through the exit or push past. (Walk into a monster and you'll attack it, so mind your step.)

See where you are

>worldmap

The world map shows the overworld and how the regions connect, so you can plan a route instead of wandering.

The fast way home

There's no recall command — instead, Word of Recall is a spell:

>cast word of recall

Cast it to whisk yourself back home. (See Magic & Spells for how casting works.)

Travelling together

Adventuring with friends? Follow a leader so the party moves as one:

>follow Elune
>unfollow

Grouping keeps you together through the map so nobody gets left behind.

Lore

goto, teleport, and home are wizards' tools for hopping straight to a place — ordinary adventurers get around by walking, mapping, and recall magic.
