Speak to the room, whisper to one player, or join a world-wide channel — the whole social side of Wyvern in a few commands.
Wyvern is a world full of other people. Here's how to talk to them.
Speak to the room
say is heard by everyone in the same room as you.
Whisper to one player
tell <player> <message> is a private message; reply answers the last person who told you, and tells shows your recent private messages. There's no separate "whisper" — tell is it.
World channels
Channels reach players everywhere. You type the channel's name as the command:
The channels are main, lq, ooc, rp, help, music, auction, sports, school, movies, games, coding, story, qi, and tv. Manage which ones you're on:
Shouting
A shout carries across the world — use it sparingly.
Emotes and NPCs
emote poses an action to the room. talk, ask, and chat are for talking to NPCs — the shopkeepers and quest-givers — not for player chat.
